I had the wonderful opportunity to garden with the boy at his elementary school with his (now-ex) 2nd grade teacher, Mr. Pod. I had a great time and even better time watching my boy work! I am totally impressed by his work ethic and knowledge and drive. Another thing that warms my heart.
Here's hoping we can get to do more of this gardening between vacations and camps and all of the other whatnot of summer.
